Team Invents Automotive CO2 Filter to Combat Global Warming using copper wire mesh and lithium hydroxide

Eighth Grade Boulder Students Recognized in National Competition devised a "tootsie-roll filter"; lithium hydroxide crystals on a circle of copper mesh, with wire twisted around the ends and placed inside an aluminum cylinder. Test results proved the filter lowered the amount of CO2 emitted.
